Raven Recording | The Mirrors Musicians

Allison Cornell (Vocals, Violin, Viola, Synth)

Allison is a genius. Gabrielle and I would take a rough bottom track of percussion (occasionally with a bass line), turn it over to her and get the hell out of her way. She never failed us. I don’t know anyone who contributed more to the development of our music...

Johnny Cunningham (Violin)

Johnny was a Scottish folk musician and composer, instrumental in spreading interest in traditional Celtic music. He was a founding member of Silly Wizard, as well as a member of Relativity, The Raindogs, and Nightnoise.

Robert Een (Cello)

Robert Een, composer for film, theater, dance and the concert stage, is the recipient of an Obie Award for music composition and two New York Dance and Performance “Bessie” Awards for music composition and sustained achievement.

Mark Egan (Bass)

Mark Egan’s unique fretless bass sound and style is both distinctive and versatile – making him one of the most in-demand electric bassists on the music scene today.

Yossi Fine (Bass)

Whether as a producer, arranger or bassist, Yossi Fine’s unique and undeniable talents have made him one of the most in demand names throughout a number of different genres.

Laur Fugere (Vocals)

Laur has been singing professionally for over 30 years and has held leading roles in such major productions as Les Misérables, Cats and Jesus Christ Superstar. A Cirque du Soleil partner since 1993, she is currently musical director of a new Cirque du Soleil project which premieres in Quebec City in summer 2009.

Hearn Gadbois (Percussion)

Hearn Gadbois is a percussionist, composer-producer, instrument maker and teacher, best known for his recording work with Patti Smith and many others.

Chloë Goodchild (Vocals)

Chloë Goodchild is an international singer, innovative educator, author and founder of The Naked Voice (1990) and its UK Charitable Foundation (2004), dedicated to the realization of compassionate communication in all realms of human life...

Boris Grebenshikov (Vocals, Synth)

Boris is one of the most prominent members of the generation which is widely considered the "founding fathers" of Russian rock music. Due as much to his personal contribution as to the undisputed and lasting success of his main effort, the band Aquarium (active since 1972 until today), he is a household name in Russia and much of the former Soviet Union. Grebenshchikov is colloquially known as BG (Russian: БГ) after his initials. He is often called the 'Grandfather of Russian Rock'.

Harvey Jones (Synth)

The synthesizer is the indigenous folk instrument of my culture. I’ve been dragging it in its various forms across studio hallways and stages for 30 years, initially struggling to keep the thing in tune and now working just as hard to make it out of tune.
